GNC Group consultants are broadly either qualified accountants or MBAs. We partner with Australia’s two leading business schools, Melbourne Business School (MBS) and Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) to recruit high-quality candidates, and also recruit selectively from industry.

We use a rigorous interview process including a verbal case study methodology and quantitative testing. Importantly, we focus heavily on softer skills particularly influencing and stakeholder management.

We have a team of more than 50 consultants throughout Australia and Asia, with a small sample of our people here. Click on their photos to find out more and discover what makes them tick.

Gulinka Shadinuowa began her career at Coles Supermarkets in their Finance Graduate Program. This was a fantastic opportunity as it exposed her to a breadth and depth of experience within the retail business sector. Gulinka worked as a Commercial Analyst across their supply chain, operations and fuel & convenience departments. She then shifted her focus to oil and energy by accepting a position at Origin in their commercial finance team as a Commercial Analyst partnering Retail Sales & Marketing. She is now a valued member of GNC Group working as a Consultant.

Gulinka believes has been given many challenging opportunities with GNC Group that have enabled her to learn new skills quickly; ones she may not have otherwise developed in a large corporate. The values of GNC Group align with her own core personal values, which makes her feel like a great fit with GNC Group.  Gulinka hopes to grow her career with GNC Group and continue to make an impact to the businesses she works with.

Gulinka’s current project with GNC Group is with CoINVEST, a long service leave scheme for construction workers. She is working towards improving their internal claims system through changes in strategy, technology, people and processes. When the project is complete, she will leave the client with a more streamlined and efficient claims process.

In her personal life, Gulinka loves to travel and go on hikes. She is an avid reader and cites Good to Great by Jim Collins and Who Moved My Cheese by Dr Spencer Johnson as two of her favourites. Both of these were recommended to her by her GNC Group colleagues and she hopes the insights she’s gleaned from them will help her further her career path at GNC Group.
